About our Dentists in Edinburgh
As with any business it’s always a good idea to give some background to the people involved, after all the dental practice is about dealing with people and so we thought it would be a good idea to write a blog post to introduce you to the people of Craigentinny dental practice near Portobello and Musselburgh on the outskirts of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Our dental team is made up of three dentists, Dr Fraser Hendry, Dr John Booth and Dr Martin Morley – each dentist has a significant number of years experience. As well as holding our basic degrees in dentistry we also continue to educate ourselves on the most modern and comprehensive cosmetic and dental health related treatment options. This allows us to stay ahead of the game and remain one of the most prominent dentists in Edinburgh.

We also have a team of hygienists and dental therapists, these are an integral part of the dental practice here in Edinburgh as they are the dental health educators. Their role is to work with our patients to help them retain their teeth and ensure that they stay in tiptop and healthy condition.
Our 6 dental nurses then make up the entire clinical dental team here at Craigentinny. The girls work with us is a complete team and enable us to deliver some of the highest quality dentistry in Scotland. As you would expect the clinical team always work within the guidelines and framework set out by the General Dental Council.
Our practice philosophy is to always do the minimum amount of dentistry required to help the patient achieve their desired result. This always involves minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry which not only looks better and feels better but keeps the whole treatment plan much more affordable.
We are privileged to say that patients travel to see us from around the Edinburgh area often travelling from far reaches of Scotland.
